Mr. Junior Hamilton, age 79, a resident of Polkville MS, passed away from this life on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Jackson. MS.  Visitation for Mr. Junior will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, October 29, 2021, at Polkville United Pentecostal Church and on Saturday morning, from 9:00 am to 11:00am, Funeral Service will be 11:00am Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Polkville Pentecostal Church, with Interment in Piney Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Barron Price, Bro. Jeremy Price and Bro. Joey Smith.   Funeral services are entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Morton, MS on May 27, 1942.  Junior loved to socialize with people. The highlight of his day was going to White’s Café to eat, drink coffee, laugh and talk with his friends.  He enjoyed riding four wheelers and being outside in the beauty of nature.  Junior seemed to never meet a stranger anywhere he went, he loved people and always saw the good in everybody.  Junior loved his family and they brought him great joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hamilton and Lona Phillips Hamilton; sister, Estelle Smith and brother, Burl Hamilton.

He is survived by his loving children, Marsha Harmon (Harold) of Polkville and Sheldon Hamilton of Polkville; brother, Travis Hamilton (Margaret) of the Crossroads Community; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jacky Smith, Ryan Smith, Mickey Hamilton, Noah Ainsworth, Chandler Wade and Ethan Harmon.
