Willodean Tynes, 88 passed away Sun. May 30, 2010 at her home in Brandon. Visitation will be held Tues. June 1, 2010 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 10am. Wed. June 2, 2010 at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tynes was born in Sylacauga, AL. and has lived in Brandon for the past 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brandon where she loved to take care of the children in the nursery. Mrs. Tynes also enjoyed collecting Snow Village Houses and Dolls.
She is survived by her husband, Emmett Tynes of Brandon; her daughter, Zara White of Brandon; her son, E.J. Tynes and wife Klinner of Brandon and one grandson, Brian Tynes of Selma, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 1900 Dunbarton, Jackson, MS 39216 or the First Baptist Church of Brandon Building Fund 309 S. College St. Brandon, MS 39042.
