Wincie L. Malone, 81, joined her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  Visitation will be 12 Noon – 1:45 PM at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Services to follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.  Rev. Eric McNair will officiate.

Mrs. Malone was born in Mendenhall, MS to Clyde and Eileen Overby Layton on December 30, 1939.  She was a member of McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.  Wincie loved to work with her flowers and gardening.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Melissa Malone and Kevin (Elisha)Malone, stepchildren, Steve (Felcia) Malone and Bridgett (Brian) Carmody; grandchildren, Logan Malone and Kaitlyn Malone; nieces and nephews, Tim (Lynne) Knight, Sylvia (Vernon) Neely, and Michael (Candace) Knight.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Malone; sister, Billie Evelyn Knight; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
