Winnie Richardson

Winnie Merle Richardson, 84, passed away Sun. Aug. 12, 2018 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Aug. 15, 2018 from 9:30am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Wed. Aug. 15, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow at Union Church Cemetery in Harperville, MS.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Scott County, MS and has been a resident of Richland, MS for 49 years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Richland, MS and was also a member of the Jolly Sunday School Class. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed working with flowers and quilting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Richardson; children, Ray Richardson (Kathy), Mike Richardson (Angela), Jimmy Dale Richardson (Cheryl), Danny Richardson (Teresa), Chris Richardson and Joanne Ratliff (Jay); 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her parents, F.S. and Lessie Tucker; sisters, Hazel Golden and Eloise Chisolm and her brothers, Cartis Tucker, Jr. Tucker and Mack Tucker.
