Woody Barker

Elwood “Woody” Barker, age 80 of Brandon, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital.

A memorial service will be 1:00pm January 3, 2021 at Walker Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Owen officiating.

Woody was born in Brookhaven, MS on April 14, 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, worked as a Truck Driver, and loved “Roll Tide”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jody Barker.

Woody is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Barker; children, Donna Warren (Ray), Tracy Morrow (Sam), and Kelvin Burt (Missi); grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Jessica Holt, Nic Warren, Kayla Morrow, Macie Morrow, Ryan Burt, and Kaylee Burt; eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
