Yves Guillory, 86, passed away Fri. May 11, 2012 at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30am. Mon. May 14, 2012 at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral mass at 10:30am. Mon. at the church. Burial will follow the services at the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Guillory was born in Ville Platte, LA and has lived in Brandon, MS for the past six years. He was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Brandon, MS. Mr. Guillory was proud to serve in the Army during WWII, and he also loved the New Orleans Saints, high school football, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Gula Guillory of Brandon, MS; his four children, Robbie Lowry and husband J. W. of Picayune, MS, Nell Chiappetta and husband Guy of Slidell, LA, Jerry Guillory and wife Denise of Brandon, MS and Donald Guillory of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Hersy Guillory of New Orleans, LA; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Senior Ministry Healing Masses, 5971 Hwy. 25 Flowood, MS 39232.
