Zachary Gene Whittington
February 29, 2020
Zac leaped into heaven sharing a very special birth date with his daddy. From the moment we found out you would be joining our family, we could not have been more excited! Your big brother had prayed for you for a long time. You gave us many great memories from making us think you were a girl, showing off your drinking and practice breathing skills, exceeding doctors’ expectations in growth, and beating the odds to make it full term. We were so blessed that your Mama got to carry you for 39 weeks! She got to feel you grow, kick, punch, and stretch those long legs out. We were able to share you with so many friends and family members. Your team of doctors were the best; they loved on your mama, daddy, and big brother so well. They made sure every moment was treasured. We have so many precious pictures of you from our ultrasounds. You will always be in our hearts; we find peace in knowing "the city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there" Zechariah 8:5. Our hearts desire was that you not suffer; we wish we had you here, and we are so thankful our prayers were answered. We know you had quite the homecoming between grandparents and playmates that were in heaven before you. For us its going to feel like a long time; however, we will be seeing you in a blink of an eye to spend eternity with you. The best is yet to come!
"Through the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10.
