VISITATION: 5-8 PM THURSDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON
Zane Larry Smith, 75, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the University of Tennessee
Medical Center in Knoxville. Services are 11 am Friday, May 22, 2015 at County Line Baptist Church near Puckett with burial in the church cemetery. Rev Mickey Ferguson will officiate.
Larry was born August 28, 1939 to L. J. and Mattie Lou Smith and worked for the Jackson and Flowood Fire Department, retiring the year 2000. He was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church.
Larry was married to Patty Carter Smith and they had one daughter, Dawn Hester (Bill) of Pelahatchie. Grandchildren are Trey Hester (Britny) of Gluckstadt and Chande Caballero (Scott) of Jackson. Larry also had two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Little Ezra Zane and a brother, Randall Smith (Ruby) of Raleigh. Larry is also survived by other extended family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
