Zenobra Shoemaker

August 10, 1918 — April 16, 2013

Zenobra “Noby” Craig Shoemaker, 94, a resident of Morton died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at MS Care Center in Morton. Graveside services were held 1:30 pm Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 pm Wednesday and 12-1 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. Eddie Shoemaker and Rev. Matt Armstrong officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shoemaker was a native of Scott Co. She was the daughter of Jim Craig and Leona Coward Craig. She was married to D.S. Shoemaker. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Forkville. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Shoemaker was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Leona Coward Craig; husband, D.S. Shoemaker and brother, Buddy Craig.

Mrs. Shoemaker is survived by her daughter, Malvina (Barry) Tisdale of Morton; sister, Marta (Cloys) Franklin of Morton; brother, Jimmy Dale Craig of Starkville; grandchildren, Tricia Tisdale of Gulfport, Scott Tisdale of Las Vegas, NV and Mike (Barbara) Tisdale of Morton; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers were Dan Craig, J.D. Craig, Paul Craig, Mark Franklin, Wilbur McCurdy and Royce Shaw.
