Ashley Nicole Sandifer, 18 departed this life Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Flowood, MS. Visitation is Friday, June 21, 2013 from 5 – 8 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Graveside Services are Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 am at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Brookhaven, MS.
Ashley was born on December 6, 1994 in Brookhaven, MS. She had completed the 10 th grade at Mendenhall High School where she was active in the Band. Ashley enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. She also loved to sing.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Thomas Nity Sandifer. Survivors include her father, Marvin Sandifer of Richland, MS; her mother, Laurie Porter (David) of Richland, MS; brothers, Steven Sandifer and Gordon Shipman both of Richland, MS; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Denman of Byram, MS; maternal grandfather, J. J. Inman of Corinth, MS; paternal grandmother, Hilda Sandifer of Sontag, MS; and numerous aunts and uncles.
