Her life first and foremost, she was a child of God with a servant’s heart. Bonnie Jean loved God and shared the love of God with all those blessed to be in her presence.  She was a prayer warrior! Her life was a living testimony of a life lived in continual prayer and worship. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word on her lips.  As a mother, a grandmother, a wife, a daughter, an aunt, a friend, she was humble and full of grace. Bonnie Jean Harmon was a rock to all of us that dearly love her.  She’s left footprints on our hearts and her light will continually shine through the ages.  She was also an avid reader, and you’d often find her sitting near a window reading.  Cooking was not one of her passion’s, but she could make the best butter rolls this side of heaven and no one could make corn-flake candy like Maw-Maw’s!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lillie Mahaffey; husband, Johnnie Ray Harmon; grandson, Nicholas Clay Phillips and sister, Nadine Walker.

She is survived by family members, 3 children, Donna Cooper (Scotty), Karol Phillips (Mike)  & Clay Harmon (Susanne); 6 grandchildren, Tammy Pereira (Kerim), J.T. Cooper (Angel), Justin Phillips, Matt Phillips (Whitney), Zac Harmon (Karri) & Shancey  Brannen (John) & 15 great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J.T. Cooper, Kerim Pereira, John Brannen, Joel Martin, Justin Phillips and Matt Phillips.  Honorary pallbearer will be Zach Harmon.
