Clara Thompson Renfroe

Mrs. Clara Renfroe, 90 of Morton died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the MS Care Center of Morton. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Leesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Danny Young and Rev. Tal Vardaman will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Renfroe was a native of Scott County and the daughter of Jimmy Thompson and Lorene Robinson Thompson. She worked at Country Meat Packers for many years. Mrs. Renfroe was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Mrs. Renfroe was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Thompson and Lorene Robinson Thompson; sisters, Rachel Renfroe, Betty Ivy and Patsy Massey and her brothers, James Thompson and Hilton Thompson. Mrs. Renfroe is survived by her children, Carolyn (H.T.) Harrell, Junior (Peggy) Renfroe, Deborah (Danny) Young, Darlene (Derrell) Cross and Randy (Lynn) Renfroe; sister, Helen Shumaker; brothers, Bobby (Carol) Thompson and Jimmy (Ellen) Thompson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbors. Serving and honoring Mrs. Renfroe as pallbearers were Ty Harrell, Dan Young, Derrick Cross, Lance Renfroe, Barry Harrell, Chad Renfroe, Chris Renfroe and Casey Renfroe.
