David Earl Beatty, 63, passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at Merit Health Rankin. David was born April 10, 1958, in Jackson to Jack and Katherine Beatty. He was raised in Jackson, where he attended Wingfield High School and later met the love of his life, his beautiful Billie. They were married 37 years before her death in 2018. Throughout his life, he worked as a long-haul truck driver and contractor, specializing in residential foundation repair and eventually founding his own company. He spent his off days traveling the state with Billie, at their kids’ baseball games, and at the Moose Lodge in Jackson. Later in life, he returned to his father’s hometown of Puckett, where he quickly made friends. His children and grandchildren brought him smiles and laughs, he took special pride in giving each one a very unique nickname. David leaves a legacy of looking for joy in every day; one of his life mottos was “every day is a holiday, and every night is a celebration.”
