Donald Ford Hall, age 79, of Brandon died Friday after a
long illness with Alzheimer’s. He was preceded in death by his
parents Roy and Annie Lou Hall and his sister Sarah Porch, all of Blue Springs.
He is survived by his wife Ottris and three children: Keith Hall of Nashville,
TN, Ken Hall of Brandon, and Kristie McGee (David) of Starkville. He also
leaves behind four grandchildren: Candace Feazell (Jim), Kelli McGee, Casey
McGee and Billy McGee.Mr. Hall graduated from Sherman High School
and received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. He served
two years as an officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hall taught math and coached at
Puckett High School and then Brandon High School. He later worked for the
Mississippi State Tax Commission.Don enjoyed gardening, hunting and golfing
for many years. His greatest passion was following the Mississippi State
bulldogs.Services will be held this Monday at 2 p.m.
at Ott & Lee Funeral Home at 1360 W. Government St. in Brandon. Visitation
is Sunday from 3-6 p.m. and on Monday from 1-2 p.m. Memorial contributions can
be mailed to Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Brandon Baptist Drive,
Brandon, MS 39042.
