Nina Faye Ladd, 95, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab in Brandon. Visitation is 12 noon Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Services are at 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in Ridge Cemetery in Scott County.
Mrs. Ladd was a native of Texas and a longtime resident of Scott County. She was a faithful member of Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Ladd was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family very much and was a very kind and sweet person, never raising her voice to anyone.
Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Pope (Ralph) of Pearl, Doyl Barnes (Bill) of Kingsland, GA, Star Nichols (Dutch) of Hollywood, FL.; son, Johnny Ladd of Forest; six grandchildren, Steve Pope, Lisa Crawley, Angela Moore, Scott Barnes, Shelia Alber and Michelle Ingram. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband, John Haze Ladd in 1999.
