Rosie Pinter

March 6, 1918 — February 14, 2015

Rosie Pinter, age 96, a resident of Mendenhall died Saturday February 14, 2015 at the Simpson General Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 11am Tuesday February 17, 2015 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Damascus Cemetery. Rev. Paul L. Sistrunk officiated.

Mrs. Pinter was born on March 16, 1918 in Scott County to her parents, Curtis Wolverton and Paralee Young Wolverton. She was a cafeteria worker in the Covington County Schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Billy Pinter, James Pinter and Jimmy Lane Pinter and a sister, Rosalene Clark.

Survivors include five children; Kenneth Pinter, Glenda Mason, Jerry Pinter, Robert Pinter and Sherry Reid. She is also survived by one brother, Willie Wolverton. Mrs. Pinter also leaves a legacy of 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Shuan Clark, Robert Mason, Curtis Pinter, Stanley Pinter, James Pinter and Donnie Russell.

Funeral services were provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest.
