Tommie Jewel Lovern, 73, passed away on Monday, December 03, 2012, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation is 5pm until 8pm Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services are 11am Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
Mrs. Lovern retired in 2006 from United Plastic Molders as a machine operator. Tommie loved her two dogs, Dolly and Baby Doll and her friend and neighbor for 18 years, Johnnie McCollum. She was married to her late husband, Jimmie Lovern for 35 years.
Survivors include her 4 children, Tommy Lovern, wife Ann of Florence, Linda Gilmer, husband, Mike of Byram, Betty Yates, husband, Mike of Pearl and Frankie Lovern, wife, Laurinda of Brandon; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The family would like to show appreciation of thanks to the staff at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, Crossgates River Oaks, Dr. Michael Albert, his nurse Karen Badells for all the special care.
